Love Yourself First!

Valentine’s Day can have a lot of pressure, high expectations and disappointment as it’s customarily celebrated. We are supposed to wait for and celebrate with our special someone. It has the ingredients for resentment and sorrow, if hopes and dreams aren’t realized. It can be the epitome of letting the external world determine your inner happiness. The danger in that dynamic is that your happiness and feeling loved depends on something you can’t control: other people. Instead I offer to love yourself first. Tune in, see what you need and then provide it yourself! No need to wait. Fill your own bucket the way you’d like and you’ll find an ease that flows into other relationships. This ease creates more relaxed connections with others making it easier to feel love. At the very least you have the satisfaction of having met your needs. At best, it ripples outward and creates better connections with all you encounter. Enjoy! 🤗🤗🤗
