One of our favorite parts of the holiday season is the Christmas at Patterson Park Community Center event -- and this year, we have extended it to include two days: Friday, December 19th and Saturday, December 20th from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Enjoy the incredibly festive atmosphere with dozens of beautifully decorated Christmas trees that you have to see to believe, photos with Santa and our gorgeous backdrop, storytime with Mrs. Clause, a letter writing station, holiday greetings from some well-known storybook characters, Christmas cookies and snacks, live music and so much more. If you haven't been before, this Christmas tradition will soon become one of your favorites, too.

Visit www.MurfreesboroParks.com for more information, and we can't wait to see you there!

We will definitely be there!

This is such a great idea! A couple years ago I went to a trick-or-treat event and somebody said to my sweet daugther say trick-or-treat or no candy. My heart sank and I had to awkwardly explain to them that she couldn’t say trick-or-treat, and that really hurt my heart. I wouldn’t want anybody to feel that heartbreak even as innocent and fast as it was, it still hurt.

If you’re handing out candy, please be considerate with all kids, you never know what struggles they are facing.
If you are a parent to someone with special needs, this might be a great idea for your kiddos!

I’m currently on a lookout for a teal bucket myself. My girl has a hard time with being loud and with sentences so this would be very beneficial! 🥰
