This year's theme for Patient Safety Awareness Week is "Team Up for Patient Safety," which encourages collaboration between care teams, patients, and families. Whatever your role is in caregiving and health care, we all have a part to play in promoting safety and safeguarding health.

When Dr. Bobby faced medical challenges of his own, he knew exactly who to call. After his wife, Becky, experienced successful knee replacement surgery recovery with her Aveanna Home Health team, Dr. Bobby knew he wanted the same exceptional care.

Over the years, Aveanna has supported Dr. Bobby through a range of health challenges including blood clots, COVID, and even a broken arm. Most recently, with the help of the Aveanna team, he has regained function, strength, and mobility, working alongside caregivers he now considers family.

“Aveanna Home Health has truly become an extension of our support system,” said Dr. Bobby. “There is familiarity, comfort, and genuine connection between us. We are so thankful for our therapists Jessica and Ashley.”
