Nothing like kicking off Valentine week 💕with delicious omelettes prepared by Chef Barbara. Residents, love our breakfasts and this just makes it even more special. The day kept getting better with an afternoon of Ross Moore singing love songs and 50s and 60s music for our special Valentine party. Melissa made sure we had chocolate-covered strawberries, punch, and tons of sweet treats while we enjoyed great music. Thanks, Ross‼️❤️

Love is in the air❤️💕. We are gearing up for our Valentine's celebration here at the Villages. A big shoutout to Autumn from Amedisys for helping with our beautiful Valentine's crafts. Hello February... As you arrive, we welcome the prospect of warmer weather. Our January calendar was filled with tons of activities, like our weekly quarter bingo, exercise classes, social hours, and so much more. We were delighted to host a colon cancer screening seminar this week, and we extend our gratitude to SHIELD for their participation. In spite of the ice, snow, and freezing rain, our village team members rose to the challenge by going above and beyond. A big thank you to EVERYONE who went the extra mile and helped out during what could have been a disaster. Our residents were well taken care of and were able to enjoy the beauty of this snowstorm. Every Friday, our residents really look forward to our social hour, which offers a variety of snacks, stimulating discussions, and trivia. Melissa's 9:30 morning exercise program provides a great way to balance out all the treats. We commend Melissa for taking the initiative to gather feedback from residents through surveys and designing activities that cater to their interests. We sure do have a lot of fun around here. Our residents had the best time yesterday visiting our Murfreesboro courthouse, thanks to our wonderful resident Kay Eischeid and her daughter, the Honorable Judge Lisa Eischeid, who were kind enough to show our residents a day in the life at the courthouse. Our residents were sworn in, searched, and even got to play lawyers; they felt special wearing the judge's robe. They might have even cast some verdicts. A few of them were held in the detention center. Ha ha! They also got to visit the judge's chambers and meet the most special member, 'Nash'. It looks like they had a wonderful day seeing the beautiful view of Murfreesboro from the top of the building and getting to experience all the history there. A huge, heartfelt thank you goes out to Lisa for taking the time to show us around; we had a blast and we can't thank you enough.
