This is why “deep tissue” needs to have a calculated approach. All through the connective tissue, muscle, and bones, are nerves that need special care and knowledge behind each individual treatment. We can’t just dive into “deep tissue” with an aggressive approach. Many injuries and unnecessary pain have been caused by a ”no pain, no gain” mentality. The body talks, and a therapist should never ignore the needs of the nervous system.
