🍁🍂 As Summer weather comes to a crawl and the feeling of Fall becomes more prominent, it’s important to allow our bodies to relax and recover from Summer activities. For most, Summer is the most active of all seasons because children aren’t in school, family vacation are more frequent, and the warm weather and longer days allow us to be outside more. With the busyness of our lives, it’s not uncommon for people to feel exhausted by the time autumn rolls around as our lives and routines fall back into place.

All of these reasons mentioned along with many others are the reasons that it’s important to recharge and allow our bodies and minds to unwind. We find that getting a massage is the perfect way to reset, recharge and re-center ourselves. Frequent and regular massage is beneficial to all systems of the body. Call and schedule your today. 🍂🍁

After a year and a half of not doing what I love most, I am happy to announce that I will be resuming my practice. Effective tomorrow, Wednesday, September 8th, I will be back caring for clients. I will be working on Mondays and Wednesdays out of "Elements Day Spa" in Murphys. You can still phone or text me at (209) 728-1207 to schedule yourself an appointment. I am taking every precaution that I can to provide a safe and sanitary haven for my clients. For the time being, masks will be required when in the office and while face up on the table. I hope to hear from you soon. Best wishes and blessings.

In the past couple of months, COVID-19, popularly referred to as coronavirus, has been the main focus of the news media. It’s not the first pandemic in the world, but it may be the first in our lifetime that has had such a widespread effect on our own soil. In the 24 years of my own practice of massage, this is the first time an illness other than my own, or that of a client, has caused a disruption of business.
I tried to get the message across about shutting down for a couple of weeks before our governor ordered the shelter in place as I felt it was my responsibility to keep my clients safe and healthy and I am obligated to first, do no harm.
As you are all well aware, the two week period has extended to over 4 weeks now with no real idea of when, if ever, things will return to “business as usual”.
Please know that I am staying healthy, strong and positive and hope the same for all of you. I hold good intentions of being able to be of service to you again when the Governor, State and local health officials feel it is safe for me to continue my life’s work and joy. Blessings and love to you and your families. I miss you.

Given the virulence of the COVID-19 virus and my dedication to my profession and my clients, I have decided to suspend my practice on a short-term, temporary basis. I believe that now is the time to practice physical and mental self care. For safety's sake in keeping the spread of the virus from going any further, even though I feel VERY healthy, my partner Jim and I are practicing stay in place through the rest of the month. We started on Monday, so that would be two weeks sequestered. I feel it is my responsibility to do so to completely know I have not been exposed and will not pass it on to my clients. I am not watching my grandsons, had cancelled our St. Patrick’s dinner Party last night and have also rescheduled dental and other personal care appointments. I have what I hope is two weeks worth of groceries in home, too. After the governor's press conference the other day I went from being a bit guarded about the whole thing to taking it extremely serious, knowing how quickly it can spread through contact now. Any of my clients with already scheduled appointments, I will be contacting you privately to reschedule from April 2nd and after, if you have also been staying in place. Of course I will also be adhering to what the CDC, State and our County Health Department dictates. Should circumstances change, I will post an update here. Please take care of yourselves and in doing so, you will be caring for everyone! Peace, blessings, love and good health to you all!
