Given the virulence of the COVID-19 virus and my dedication to my profession and my clients, I have decided to suspend my practice on a short-term, temporary basis. I believe that now is the time to practice physical and mental self care. For safety's sake in keeping the spread of the virus from going any further, even though I feel VERY healthy, my partner Jim and I are practicing stay in place through the rest of the month. We started on Monday, so that would be two weeks sequestered. I feel it is my responsibility to do so to completely know I have not been exposed and will not pass it on to my clients. I am not watching my grandsons, had cancelled our St. Patrick’s dinner Party last night and have also rescheduled dental and other personal care appointments. I have what I hope is two weeks worth of groceries in home, too. After the governor's press conference the other day I went from being a bit guarded about the whole thing to taking it extremely serious, knowing how quickly it can spread through contact now. Any of my clients with already scheduled appointments, I will be contacting you privately to reschedule from April 2nd and after, if you have also been staying in place. Of course I will also be adhering to what the CDC, State and our County Health Department dictates. Should circumstances change, I will post an update here. Please take care of yourselves and in doing so, you will be caring for everyone! Peace, blessings, love and good health to you all!
