When a spinal compression fracture happens, it’s not “just back pain.” It can start a downward spiral. Less movement, leaning forward, losing core strength, becoming deconditioned… and the body simply doesn’t do as well.

Kyphoplasty helps us interrupt that spiral.

Here’s how it works:
We gently insert a small balloon into the fractured vertebra, expand it to restore height and stability (no actual balloon animals, unfortunately 🎈🐶), then fill the space with medical cement to strengthen the bone.

Stellate Injections have been LIFE CHANGING for me!!! I am on my 7th one its a process. I have CRPS.... I had pain and uncontrollable hives for weeks. Not only did they help with the pain they also helped manage the hives. (This was the only thing that got rid of the hives and helped with the pain after weeks of suffering.) It's changed my life forever for the better, I have been able to cut my medication in half which is huge!!! ( I feel like a hostage to medication.) I feel like a heavy weight has been lifted and given me hope again. If you are even considering getting a Stellate injection, Sterling Orthopetics Pain and Spine is the place, *Important this clinics entire staff is kind, caring, helpful and supportive.* Dr.Condie is very precise, supportive, listens and answers questions, then makes a game plan. I appreciate his fun and caring bedside manner. I've seen a few of the PA's my favorite is Dr. Aubrey but i would go any of them. I am so grateful for this clinic. I only wish i knew about the Stellate Injections sooner.

When someone is fighting cancer, pain shouldn’t be another battle.
This patient had pancreatic cancer and was living with relentless 9/10 abdominal pain—even on high-dose opioids. The meds helped a little… but the side effects were brutal: fatigue, constipation, zero energy.
So we used image-guided procedures to target the pain at its source. First, a celiac plexus block brought huge relief. Then, when the pain returned as the cancer progressed, intrathecal drug therapy (a pain pump) changed everything—delivering micro-doses of medication directly where it’s needed with far fewer side effects.

Not every patient needs these advanced options, but people deserve to know they exist.
If you or a loved one is facing severe cancer-related pain, you’re not out of options. ❤️🩹
