ATTN RACERS!!! IMPORTANT INFO!!!

As many know, Health Services is currently operated through Village Medical, but that will be changing soon. Effective 10/14/24, Health Services will be operated by Murray Medical Associates (MMA) through Murray Calloway County Hospital. Health Services will remain at the same location in Wells Hall.

Your current provider, Janna, will still be available to you at the main Village Medical location at 1000 S. 12th Street if you would like to continue care there. You may also sign a records release form from Village Medical to have your records sent to MMA so that they may continue your care on campus.

Additional information will be coming soon, so keep an eye out for new posts!!!

There has been a rise in cases of COVID as well as a few cases of Influenza. With family weekend approaching, please be mindful if you are sick and make sure to seek evaluation early to help reduce the spread of these viruses. Wash hands frequently, avoid sharing drinks/food, and cover your cough.

Please reach out to health services if you have any questions or concerns, or to schedule an appointment 270.809.3809. Current hours are M-F 8am-12noon.

In case of an emergency, please go to your nearest emergency department.

Please note that Health Services is currently open from 8am-12noon Monday through Friday. If you need to see a provider after 12, you may go to the 1000 S. 12th street location for a walk in, or call to schedule at 270.809.3809. We apologize for the inconvenience. As always, stay healthy! Happy Wednesday, Racers!

As you begin the Fall semester, keep in mind that Covid is rearing its ugly head again. As you meet new people and enjoy all the amazing things MSU has to offer, please be mindful if you are sick and try to stay away. Symptoms have been ranging from typical allergy or "cold" symptoms to fever, chills, fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, sore throat, coughing, shortness of breath, etc. If you are concerned, please don't hesitate to test yourself at home or come in for testing and evaluation. We want you to stay as well as possible this semester!

Health Services on campus will be closed the remainder of the summer beginning July 1, 2024. If you would like to be seen by the provider, you may call 270.809.3809 to schedule a virtual visit or in person appointment at the 1000 S. 12th Street location.

🎓GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT🎓
If you've been to Health Services, you've likely been greeted by Shay!
Health Services and Village Medical would like to congratulate Shay on her upcoming graduation from MSU with a Master's in Public Administration with concentration in Economic Development. Shay has worked so hard balancing roles as a loving mother, wife, active member of Delta Sigma Theta, and a student all while working a full time job with us in Health Services! We are so proud of Shay's hard work and know she will continue to do amazing things!!
