Power isn’t just about control — it shows up in how we speak, set boundaries, and relate every day.

For many people, past experiences can make power feel unsafe or out of reach.

You might notice it as struggling to speak up, avoiding conflict, needing control, or feeling disconnected from your body.

These aren’t flaws — they’re survival patterns.

Our latest article explores 6 signs your relationship with power may be trauma-shaped — and where healing can begin.

Sometimes healing doesn’t look like progress.

It looks like sitting still and taking one slow breath. It looks like feeling your feet on the floor. It looks like asking for a pause when everything in you wants to push through.

In our newest blog post, Alex shares a story from a 100-mile ultramarathon where he almost had to quit — until another runner handed him a bag of rice and said:

"Just eat one kernel at a time."

That moment became a powerful reminder that trauma healing happens the same way — gently, gradually, and often with support.
You don't have to climb the whole hill today.
Just one kernel at a time.

Our family text thread lit up this morning with a message celebrating “March Forth” (yes… spelled that way 😄).

It was a simple reminder that the days are getting longer, the seasons are shifting, and new beginnings are on the horizon.

It also reminded me of something Brooks—one of the therapists in our clinic —shared during a season focused on rest and reflection. She talked about how intentions don’t always have to begin on January 1st. Sometimes the right time to start is when the light begins to return and you feel ready to move forward.

So this week I’ve been thinking about what I want to **march forward** in my life—professionally, personally, and spiritually.

What about you? What are you ready to move forward on? 🌱

A song was written especially for Circles of Grace — and today we’re honored to share it with you.

Music can hold what words sometimes cannot. It can carry grief, hope, memory, and meaning — and support real emotional healing.

To celebrate the release, we’ve also published a new blog post on the role of music in trauma recovery and nervous system regulation.
