A warming shelter will be open at the Veterans of Foreign Wars 6291 building at 926 S 12th St, beginning Friday evening in preparation for Winter Storm Fern.

The incoming storm has closed the campuses of UT Martin and WKCTC; Murray State has yet to release information.
