Happy birthday to my beautiful Bauma in heaven. 110 years ago, this beauty was born. She was wildly successful, ahead of her time, and I love her dearly. We carry our ancestors within us—their dreams, their courage, their unfinished healing, and their quiet wisdom. She taught me resilience, love, and the power of continuing on even when the path is hard.

Today I went out and grabbed her favorite breakfast, and sat down with a pretty little dish and coffee cup she gave me and her favorite color, with the last card she wrote me, and a little green scarf she tied over her hair at night to protect it.

I was so blessed to have this very influential lady (in every sense of the word) in my life, and having the incredible honor of cradling her in my arms the morning she got her angel wings. 🪽🕊️ I carry her in my heart 🤍
