Let’s play a game!

1. You should brush your teeth right after eating.
👉 Myth- it’s best to wait 30 minutes, especially after acidic foods.

2. Flossing isn’t necessary if you brush really well.
👉 Myth- flossing cleans between teeth where your brush can’t reach.

3. Sugar is the main cause of cavities.
👉 Fact- but it’s how often you eat sugar that matters most.

4. Gum disease only affects your mouth.
👉 Myth- it’s linked to overall health, including heart disease and diabetes.

5. Electric toothbrushes clean better than manual.
👉 Fact- studies show they can remove more plaque if used correctly. (Plus we sell them in our office!)
