Since the beginning of 2025, the hospice staff has chosen one of our own as the Angel of the Month 😇 Our September angel, Grace, chose the October angel…. Amanda Little!
Grace had the following to say about Amanda:

I would like to nominate Amanda for Employee of the Month. Over the past month, she has gone above and beyond to support our team during the transition to HOPE. She has been an incredible resource, always available to answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance with patience and understanding. She never makes anyone feel dumb for needing help or needing to make a correction. We are lucky to have someone like her on our team!

Grace was not able to be here today to pass on the angel wings, so our director, Jane Bright, stood in her place.

We want to give a 👏🏼BIG THANK YOU👏🏼 to our new neighbors across 94W. The amazing staff at Pocket's Shell provided us with an amazing lunch yesterday and today! The food is delicious and the staff are friendly 😊 Pockets will be a great addition not only for patients and their families but for our staff as well! 🦋

Toby is a 95lb, neutered, 5 year old, Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever mix. He is primarily an indoor dog, but enjoys playing and walking outside. He is house broke and remains uncrated in his home (although he does enjoy going into his crate for naps). He does not chew or bite on things he should not and does not get onto the furniture. Toby does not have a bite or aggressive history that the family is aware of. His behavior with other animals and small children is unknown due to being in a single dog, adult only family. He is up-to-date on all vaccines, sees his vet routinely and has all his vet records with him.
