🎄🚤 Deck the Hulls—It’s Regatta Time! 🚤🎄

Join us for the 8th Annual Rivertown Regatta Christmas Boat Parade on Saturday, December 6 at 5 PM along the scenic Conway Riverwalk!

✨ From Jon boats to yachts, every Coast Guard-compliant vessel is welcome to light up the water with holiday cheer. Whether you're sailing or spectating, this magical evening supports a meaningful cause—all proceeds benefit Oak Tree Farm, a local community empowering adults with autism and intellectual disabilities.

The City of Conway and SOS Care are teaming up to spread holiday magic throughout our community!

Join us for a sensory-friendly holiday celebration!

Enjoy an evening filled with music, games, and a visit from Santa—all in a comfortable and inclusive environment designed for individuals with sensory sensitivities.

There will be a sensory table featuring noise-reducing headphones and other helpful items for children to borrow during the event.

In partnership with the South Carolina Developmental Disabilities Council, SOS started our leadership and advocacy training program to provide individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities with the skills and support to join local boards and committees so they can have a voice in the community. This class is facilitated by Grady Gambrell one of the many talented individuals who live at SOS Oak Tree Farm. Grady is a graduate of the SCDDC’s Partners in Policymaking program where he learned a tremendous amount about advocacy and self-advocacy. SOS Care’s new program is so important and we could not do it without the grant funding and support of the SC DD Council!! If you know of any local boards or committees looking to add a member please let us know!!
