What a wonderful way to spend Saturday morning!
Tracey Wood, pediatric nurse practitioner at Tidelands Health, and Laura Taylor, aquatics manager at YMCA of Coastal Carolina, led this month’s Walk With a Doc, offering practical tips parents and grandparents can use to help children stay safe around water before participants enjoyed a walk through Brookgreen Gardens.

Walk With a Doc is held on the fourth Saturday of every month at Brookgreen Gardens. Walkers learn more about a health topic from a Tidelands Health medical professional before lacing up their shoes and walking about one mile on Brookgreen Gardens paths.
