Can we share how one nurse made an unforgettable difference? 🌼

During one of the scariest nights for a family following a serious car accident, compassionate care meant everything. Here’s what they shared:

“Brittaney was the angel my dad and our family needed that night. From the very first interaction, she built a rapport that put him at ease. She cared for him not just as a patient, but as a person. Knowing she was there gave us comfort and confidence. One nurse made us raving fans of the hospital.”

We are proud to recognize Brittaney Anderson, RN as the latest DAISY Award Honoree! 💙

Brittaney, thank you for bringing calm, connection, and compassion when it mattered most.

Help us celebrate Brittaney by sharing a note of gratitude below. 🎉

What happens when a community comes together for heart health? 💖

Southwest Healthcare was proud to sponsor the Rock Your Red fundraising event at Pechanga Resort Casino, bringing our community together to spotlight heart and stroke awareness.

🩺 Cardiologist Dr. Andrew Ho shared practical insights on managing blood pressure, including advances in renal denervation, while our clinical teams provided important education on recognizing and responding to heart attacks and strokes.

We wrapped up the education with a lively round of Rock Your Red Jeopardy, featuring the Heart Breakers vs. the Brainiacs, followed by a powerful heart survivors' fashion show presented by Macy's, featuring:

❤️ George Mills, who shared his story of surviving a heart attack
❤️ Denyse Wilson, Rock Your Red host and organizer, who spoke about her open-heart surgery journey

Attendees also explored vendor booths featuring Southwest Healthcare’s cardiac, stroke, and behavioral health services, along with a preview of the upcoming Women’s Health Expo.

Some gifts are made with love . . . and a lot of yarn. 🧶

Meet Lynne Sanders, a local resident with a big heart who donated 90 hand-knitted beanies to the Family Birth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital.

Lynne shared that she spent her evenings knitting while watching TV with her husband, making about three beanies a night, all to give back to our tiniest patients. 👶

It’s acts of kindness like this that wrap our community in care, one stitch at a time.

Help us thank Lynne for spreading warmth and love to our newest arrivals. 💖

Learning together is one of the most powerful ways to stay healthy. 🍎

Recently, we gathered for a Women Enlightened for Better Health (WE) luncheon hosted by Rancho Springs Hospital, where Dr. Jennifer Boozer from Rancho Family Medical Group shared valuable insights on fall prevention, including common causes and simple strategies to help reduce risk and stay steady at every stage of life.

From awareness to prevention, it was a reminder that small changes can make a big difference for you and the people you love.
