New uplifting, positive, love spreading project in the works. It’s about inspiring women. Launching to the public soon but would love to have some early adopters try it out. If you have inspirational women in your life that you want to give a heartfelt shout out to, leave a comment. Let’s start a women empowerment movement! ❤️👊💋

Hello! I'm Alice Yoo, a digital artist who, with the help of AI, creates art that evokes an emotion. Back in 2008, I co-founded an art and culture blog called My Modern Met where I curated art, daily. That blog became hugely popular with over 6 million visitors a month. My favorite part of that job was that I got to be exposed to thousands of different artists, many of whom I was able to make go "viral." I actually got the chance to change the trajectory of artists' lives by giving them free exposure. My Modern Met became a huge hub of inspiration, where other popular websites would come to repost our content.

That was my job for seven years.

Though I loved curating art, I always felt the longing to be on the other side, to be the artist. So, here I am, almost two decades later, finally living my dream.

So what did I do in those "in between" years? I tried to be a lifestyle blogger like Joanna Goddard at Cup of Joe and Joy Cho at Oh Joy!. My blog was called Adventures of Yoo but I found that I was too shy to share my private life. Classic introvert. (Who knows? I may revive it one day!) I created a podcast about people living successfully with a mental illness called Smashing the Stigma (that I've since taken down). And then I created a YouTube channel (that I stopped). My second most popular video was the one where I described what having bipolar disorder feels like.

My latest gig, an online shop that's still alive and well today, features hand-lettered graphic t-shirts for the modern feminist. The shop is called Skylar Yoo (after the daughter I wish I had). GRIT is my favorite tee.

It's been a long journey but I think I've finally found my calling! You see, I believe that all of my experiences have culminated into becoming what I've always dreamed of becoming...an artist! I hope you find my art inspirational and I hope that you also pursue your dreams!

Please welcome Heart Art to the world today!

Heart Art is an online store that sells beautiful, inspiring, funny and heartbreaking art that will evoke an emotional reaction in you.
