Our focus on education and prevention allows us to provide parents and children with the skill set and knowledge to properly care for their mouth. Arctic Dental, PLC is owned Dr. Jarod Johnson. Dr. Jarod earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Iowa in 2009, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Iowa in 2013. He earned his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Jarod has received advanced training in behavior management, sedation, hospital dentistry, trauma, special health care needs, interceptive orthodontics, space maintenance, oral hygiene, and dietary counseling. His energetic personality allows him to relate to kids on an individual level. He understands the importance of children having a positive dental experience, and strives to provide the best care tailored to each child’s needs. Dr. Jarod enjoys educating children and their families on the importance of oral health so they can establish good habits for a lifetime of smiles. His goal is to develop relationships with each of his patients to establish a dental home that is welcoming from infancy through adolescence. Dr. Jarod is a member in good standing with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, and Davenport District Dental Society.
