I started this page a couple of years back because Kennedy Thompson was sick with leukemia and needed all the prayers she could get. We also used this page to raise money for her and her family. My heart was so full because of everyone that stepped up for them.
Tonight I come to you for prayers for Kennedy’s daddy. Heath went in to have triple bypass surgery this morning and it turned into 5 bypasses. The Dr said on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the worst he has ever seen that his was a 9.5. The Dr told Nicole (Heaths wife) that his arteries were a mess and if doesn’t make some life changes coming out of this surgery that he wouldn’t be with them much longer. This was not the news they were expecting.
On top of this Heath had opted out of this surgery. But his family and friends of course wouldn’t have it. Heath like any father was worried about being down and providing for their family. When they are able to bring Heath out of sedation, I would love for him to wake up and us be able to tell him that the whole community and people nationwide that are on this page are lifting him up in prayer. I know this is “Prayers for Kennedy” page but this is her daddy and she does need prayers along with their whole family.
It has been put on my heart to add this last part. If you feel led to donate to The Thompson’s during this time of recovery I know it would be such a blessing to them. I would love to be able to pay their utitlities, groceries, gas, medication, other household bills for at least a month to help them. This was Heaths biggest worry and I know when he wakes up and is told all of this it will be one of the first thing he worries about. He needs to focus on healing and taking care of himself. It’s amazing how fast 10.00 or 20.00 can add up. I have raised funds for multiple people over the last year and it was just by people giving small amounts. It just took everyone pitching in.

Heath always tells me that I don’t waste any time taking care of people. He says you just get it done and that’s all I want to do for them. Thank you all in advance for the love and prayers for them! ❤️
