This program is offered by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System and will be hosted at The Healing Place on March 24th, 2026 at 5:30pm.

This event is open to the community free of charge.

We are so appreciative of the support of Lauderdale County Schools, Alabama and our partnership providing grief support to their students. Krissy Devito we are honored you choose The Healing Place to be the beneficiary of Greyson's birthday remembrance.

We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the Grey for Greyson Hat Day!

Our district was able to donate $1750 to The Healing Place!

THP offers a huge thanks to everyone who supported us during the month of February for our Buy a Heart, Heal a Heart fundraiser!

You all raised over $300 for THP while honoring loved ones who have died. We so appreciate each and every donation and are grateful to serve children and families who are experiencing grief. 💗

💙THP is seeking individuals who are interested in supporting our mission!💙

We need your help to keep THP thriving! We are forming a team of young adults called Heart Healers that will be filled with individuals who are passionate about helping THP further our mission and continue to thrive in the Shoals.

The Heart Healers will meet to discuss fundraising, networking, and connections. We hope that those who want to see THP continue to lead out our mission will donate their time to help us explore new fundraising avenues, become connected with other organizations, and advocate for the necessity of our services.

This is a great opportunity for individuals aged 19-45 who want to:
👉Support The Healing Place
👉Help The Shoals community
👉Network with other non-profits, agencies, and organizations
👉Gain experience in the non-profit sector
👉Make a difference in the lives of grieving children and families
👉Build their resume

💙Adult Grief Support Group💙

THP is offering an Adult Grief Support Group Monday, March 9th, at 12 pm.

This group is open to ANY adult who has or is experiencing grief. This group is in addition to our bi-weekly all ages support group. Any adults are welcome to join us regardless of type of loss or previous THP involvement. We hope to continue offering this group monthly to meet the need of adults experiencing grief in our community.

RSVP is not required to participate in this group but is encouraged. To RSVP you may call our office at 256-383-7133, email officemanager@thehealingplaceinfo.org, or message us directly.
