WHAT IS HGA? - Incorporated in 1980, HGA (Honoring, Growth & Achievement) is a Non-Profit, 501(c)3 organization that was formed to assist people who are Intellectually and Developmentally Disabled (I/DD).
WHAT DOES HGA DO AND WHAT SERVICES DO THEY PROVIDE ? AFC HOMES - HGA has 10 Adult Foster Care (AFC) Homes in 3 counties in West MI. Every home is licensed by LARA and has Specialized Certification to work with people who have I/DD, Mental Illness, and physical disabilities. HGA meets all standards of State-mandated training and update requirements for Direct Support Professionals and mandatory Autism/Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) training, occupational safety and health training and standards, and proper facilities management standards. LINKS PROGRAM - A community-focused, skill-building program AUTISM THERAPY - Applied Behavior Analysis Support for children with autism SED SEVERE EMOTIONAL DISTURBANCE - A program for children/youth with mental, behavioral or emotional disorder
