Can you dig it? It’s National Retro Day at Clock Timeless Pets! 🐾✌️

We’re throwing it back to the era of s**g carpets and bell-bottoms. Our pets have been our "soul-mates" through every decade, and today we’re celebrating the timeless bond we share with them.

Whether your best friend is a "Space Cowboy" or a "Dancing Queen," we’re here to honor their legacy with peace, love, and groovy memories. 🌈✨

Post a photo of your pet looking "retro" in the comments! 👇

It started with a promise to Max. 🐾
Every business has a "why," but ours has a name, a wagging tail, and a legacy that changed everything for us.
When Jodi and Dale Clock faced the loss of their four legged family member and funeral home Therapy Dog, Max, they realized something heartbreaking: the options for pet end of life care didn’t match the love we give our pets in life. The process felt cold, clinical, and rushed. Max wasn't just "remains"—he was a family member. He deserved dignity, patience, and a peaceful goodbye.

That’s why Clock Timeless Pets was born. We decided that "good enough" wasn't enough for West Michigan pet parents. Inspired by Max, we brought the same standards of honor and transparency found in human cremation and funeral providers to the pet world:

✨ True Private Cremation: Ensuring your pet is the only one in the chamber.
✨ The "Chain of Custody": A promise that the remian you receive are truly and only yours.
✨ A Peaceful Space: A place where you can say goodbye without feeling rushed.

We don't just provide a service; we fulfill a promise we made to Max years ago: to treat every pet as if they were our own.

Does your pet have a "soulmate" story like Max? We’d love to see a photo of your best friend in the comments below. 👇

"Scent Soak" (AKA: The Laundry Thief) 🧺!!!! Have you ever wondered why your cat is sleeping on your laptop or why your dog dragged your gym socks into the living room? They aren't trying to be messy; they’re self-soothing.

To your pet, your scent is a physical manifestation of "Safety." When the house gets quiet, the "Scent Soak" begins:

Dogs: Seek out the "stinkiest" thing you own (usually shoes or towels) because it has the highest concentration of your pheromones.

Cats: Prefer your "active" spots—like your pillow or the chair you just sat in—to blend their scent with yours, reaffirming that the territory is shared.

What do your pets like to do?

The morning after you left…
the world didn’t break.
It just felt… wrong.

The sun still came through the window.
Coffee still brewed.
Cars still passed outside like nothing sacred had happened.

But inside this house, something had shifted.
Like the rhythm of life forgot a beat.

I walked into the kitchen and automatically reached for your bowl.
My hand froze halfway there.
Because suddenly there was no hungry tail thumping the cabinet.
No soft nails tapping the floor.
Just the sound of my own breathing… too loud in the quiet.

I never realized how much of the world was built around you.
The walks at the same hour every day.
The way I avoided stepping on the squeaky toy in the hallway.
The way your fur somehow lived on every sweater I owned.

You weren’t just part of my life.
You were the small gravity that held my ordinary days together.

After you were gone, even the air felt different.
The couch felt too big.
The evenings stretched too long.
And the silence…
the silence didn’t feel peaceful anymore.
It felt misplaced. Like something that shouldn’t exist.

People kept saying time would make it easier.
Maybe it does.
But nobody explains how time first has to pass through this strange, crooked space…
where the world keeps moving
and your heart refuses to follow.

Some nights I sit outside and look at the sky longer than I ever used to.
Because it comforts me to imagine that somewhere beyond what my eyes can see,
you’re running again.

Not tired.
Not hurting.
Not slowing down to keep up with me.

Running the way you did when joy was the only thing you knew.

And maybe the world feels wrong here
because part of my right world…
ran ahead to wait for me.

So if things still feel out of place,
if the silence still stings,
if the mornings still feel heavier than they should…

Maybe it isn’t because love ended.

Maybe it’s because love is still pointing
toward the place
where we’ll find each other again. 🌈🐾

Who’s a Good Chef? 🧑‍🍳🐾

Happy Thursday, everyone! As we head towards the end of the week, we're thinking about what’s on the menu—not just for us, but for our four-legged family members, too.
There is something so rewarding about knowing exactly what goes into your pet’s bowl. Making your own pet food (even just as a topper!) is a great way to cut out the fillers and pack in the nutrients.

Our Thursday Tip: Keep it simple! You don’t need a culinary degree. A little lean protein (turkey or beef), some skinless sweet potatoes, and a handful of blueberries or spinach can make a world of difference.

Wait! Before you cook: Always remember to skip the "No-Go" list:

No onions or garlic ❌

No grapes or raisins ❌

No Xylitol (check your peanut butter labels!) ❌
