Big corporations can hand out cheap ornaments or trendy cups that cost them literal pennies, and people will stand in line for hours without hesitation.
A locally owned small business brings in Santa Claus, takes time, money, and effort to create something special for the community… and hardly anyone shows up.

And then months from now those same people will post, “It’s so sad another local business closed.”
No. What’s sad is watching people pour their money, time, and loyalty into corporations that don’t know their name, don’t care about their community, and won’t blink when your town dries up and blows away.

Small businesses don’t have corporate budgets.
We don’t have marketing teams.
We don’t have unlimited inventory or safety nets.
What we do have is heart, sacrifice, and a genuine desire to give back to the people who live here.

We show up.
We try.
We pour everything we have into these walls.

And when the support isn’t there this is the result.
This is why local businesses close.

If you only support small businesses when it’s convenient or trendy, then you’re part of the problem.
Support doesn’t mean liking a post.
Support means walking through the door when it counts.

Because once the small shops are gone, all that’ll be left are corporations
