a little life update ✨

I’ll be starting my maternity leave on April 20th and plan to return around August 1st! I’ll be soaking up all the sweet newborn moments during that time 🍼

if you’ve been meaning to book, this is your sign to get on my schedule before I go! consistency is key, especially for my acne clients, and I’d love to get your skin in a good place before my time away. while I’m gone, the girls at the spa will be more than happy to take care of you and continue your treatments until I’m back!

Maternity leave has been so sweet and I can’t believe it’s almost time to come back but I am so excited to see you all again! Slowly getting back into the swing of things and now accepting clients for February. My schedule will have limited availability while I finish my last semester of nursing school so don’t wait to book!

1️⃣ Hydration ≠ Moisture

Your skin needs both! Using a hyaluronic acid serum with a moisturizer is essential to lock and seal in needed hydration (and don’t skimp on exfoliation)

2️⃣ Pillowcases count as skincare

Wash them. Change them. Use silk if you want to be fancy. Bacteria harbors on your pillowcases just as much (if not more) as a toilet. Your skin will thank you!

3️⃣ Seal your skincare routine with an overnight occlusive

Layer on a healing ointment or balm at night after your routine to prevent evaporation of products

4️⃣ Switch to a barrier protecting creamy cleanser

Swapping your cleanser to a more gentle approach can help keep your barrier from getting impaired and reduce irritation/dryness

5️⃣ Use a hydrating mask in the shower

We get it- hot showers are essential in the winter, but wreck havoc on your skin. Using a hydrating mask while showering can help prevent transepidermal water loss which leads to dehydration and irritation

MATERNITY LEAVE 👶🏼

Trading the treatment room for the newborn bubble starting NOVEMBER 17th! Taking some time away to soak up this last little love of ours and will return beginning of February. I have very limited availability now until leave. If you don’t see a time/day that works on the site, please shoot me a message and I will accommodate you as best I can. Also a perfect time to secure our fall specials and book for when I return!
