During that time, Dr. Powell has welcomed more than 6,000 new babies into the world. In addition, he specializes in infertility, endometriosis and urinary incontinence treatments, as well as several cosmetic surgical procedures. He is associated with several hospitals in the Muskogee, Pryor, Tahlequah, and Tulsa areas. Dr. Powell earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College, Nashville, T
N. He completed his internship and residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City. He has awarded for his research in obstetric anesthesia by the Brooklyn Gynecologic Society. He has also received post-graduate training in breast and body cosmetic surgery. Dr. Powell is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the American Medical Association, Oklahoma Medical Society, the Eastern Central Oklahoma Medical Society and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He has been with the Muskogee Women's Clinic since 2000. Dr. Powell visits middle schools and high schools throughout Eastern Oklahoma teaching thousands of students about sexual abstinence and risks of sexually transmitted diseases. Dr. Powell and his wife, Teresa, have three children.
