Yesterday morning’s semi wreck on I-40 was a powerful reminder of what true teamwork looks like. I want to extend my sincere appreciation to Gore Fire Department, Webbers Falls Fire Department, Vian FD, Sallisaw Fire Department, Pafford Ems Sallisaw, Air Evac Lifeteam 83 - Muskogee, OK , OHP and ODOT.

When we called for help, every agency responded without hesitation. Your support, skill and cooperation were instrumental in safely extricating the patient and bringing a challenging situation under control.

I also want to thank the surrounding communities and Vian Police Department who assisted with diverting traffic. Your efforts kept the scene safe and allowed first responders to work efficiently without additional hazards.

This kind of unified effort is what keeps our communities safe. I’m proud to work alongside such dedicated partners, and I’m grateful for the commitment each of you brings to the table every day.

Teamwork saves lives, and yesterday proved it once again.

We had an absolute blast at the Wagoner County Emergency Preparedness Expo in Coweta today! Huge shoutout to Wagoner County Emergency Management and the Coweta Chamber of Commerce for putting on such an awesome event and having us out!

From teaching hands-only CPR to meeting tons of amazing people and catching up with our first responder family—this is what it’s all about!

And let’s hear it for EVERYONE who stepped up to donate blood today. YOU are the real heroes. Lives will be saved because of you!
