Full Job Description:
This counseling and psychology private practice provides mental health services to Oklahomans. We are a small office of two licensed clinicians and one front office staff.

This front office staff position is responsible for greeting and interacting with clients on the phone and in person for administrative needs and managing administrative tasks for the clinicians in a healthcare environment.
Primary responsibilities:
• Answering phones in a professional manner and handle inquires using HIPAA protocols
• Calling referrals from other healthcare providers
• Scheduling appointments
• Verifying insurance and billing information
• Submitting and following up with insurance claims
• Distributing and explaining necessary forms and paperwork to clients
• Reviewing forms and paperwork from clients to ensure all required fields are completed properly
• Maintaining and managing client records within HIPAA guidelines
• Reminding clients of upcoming appointments
• Collecting payments and copays
• Entering data into the mental health practice management software and provider portals
• Assisting clinicians with client treatment needs as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Prior healthcare front office experience (Preferred)
• Working knowledge of healthcare insurance (Preferred)
• Knowledge of healthcare terminology (Preferred)
• Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications (Preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Required)

Schedule:
• Part-time
• Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 1:00pm
