Coastal Cancer Center is teaming up with the Community Oncology Alliance (COA) Patient Advocacy Network (CPAN) to host a local advocacy event.

CPAN is a nationally recognized patient advocacy group that brings together patients, community oncologists, nurses, and healthcare administrators in the fight to preserve community cancer care and local access to treatment.

The evening will cover how national policy issues affect local patient care, how oncologists advocate for their patients, current COA and CPAN initiatives, and how you can get involved as a Cancer Care Advocate.

Whether you're a patient, survivor, caregiver, clinician, employee, or community member, you're welcome to join us for an informative and inspiring evening.

There is nothing better than a community that looks out for one another! Coastal Cancer Center, Strand GI Associates, and Carolina Cancer Foundation are coming together on Saturday, March 28th for a free awareness walk right here in Myrtle Beach.

Coastal Cancer Center is proud to announce that Dr. Emily Touloukian is the first physician in South Carolina certified to deliver Optune Pax, positioning our practice as the first in the state to offer this newly FDA-approved therapy for adults with locally advanced pancreatic cancer.

Optune Pax is a wearable treatment that delivers Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields). This approval represents the first new treatment advancement for locally advanced pancreatic cancer in nearly 30 years and expands the therapeutic landscape for patients facing this diagnosis.

As a comprehensive oncology practice providing both medical and radiation oncology services, our focus remains on bringing clinically meaningful innovation to the communities we serve while maintaining coordinated, patient-centered care.
