Staff Spotlight on Lori Wright, MSN, AGNP-C, ACHPN!

Lori Wright joined Coastal Cancer Center in 2022. A native of Southwest Virginia, she and her family moved to Pawleys Island, SC, in 2016.
She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing in 2018 from Walden University. She is certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is also certified by the Hospice and Palliative Credentialing Center as an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse.

Prior to joining CCC, she worked in palliative, hospice, and primary care and is passionate about providing holistic care to the oncology patient population.

Her hobbies and interests include spending time with her husband, kids, and friends and serving in the music ministry at her church.

In 2004, Marianne faced her first breast cancer diagnosis while training for a marathon. Though her journey took an unexpected turn, her resilience never wavered.

Fast forward to 2024, after bravely overcoming a second breast cancer diagnosis and completing surgery, Marianne returned stronger than ever. This year, she not only participated in our Pink Ribbon Run but placed second in her age group! 🏅💕

Her story is a testament to courage, perseverance, and the power of hope. Let’s celebrate Marianne and all the warriors who inspire us every day.
