We were all dancing queens at our Mama Mia Signature Experience! 🌟
To kick things off, we joined our social team for a little island-inspired crafting fun! These beautiful Santorini blue tiles made the best coasters for us to enjoy! But with a big Greek wedding on the horizon, we had some pre-wedding festivities to attend to! The fellas headed out for their very own bachelor bash at NEAT Bourbon Bar with our Director of Dining, Mark. Let’s just say the bourbon was flowing, the laughter was loud, and those guys definitely said, “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” another round. 🥃 While the men were out on the town, our ladies were having a beautiful garden party luncheon, in true bachelorette fashion. They played games and laughed until their cheeks hurt - even taking home some great prizes! They dined on a lovely lemon chicken soup, shrimp Greek salad, and delicious rice pudding. What a delightful afternoon! When it was finally time for the “I do’s,” Members danced their way to the celebration. The room was transformed into a royal blue wonderland, with sparkling disco balls and bursts of fuchsia bougainvillea. It was like stepping straight into a scene from the movie! Our dining team served up a grand Greek feast for us to indulge in. The evening began with a cold pikilia at the table, followed by braised lamb shanks, tomato-feta orzo, and lemon potatoes. Guests also enjoyed a build-your-own gyro and souvlaki bar. To sweeten things up, our dessert table featured baklava, orange phyllo cake, and sweet cherry spoon desserts. Can we get an opa?! Then came the moment we had all been waiting for…the wedding ceremony! Our executive team, along with a few supportive husbands, stepped into the spotlight as bridesmaids and groomsmen. Life Enrichment Leader Josy and her husband Mark, our Director of Dining, took center stage as the bride and groom while Joseph officiated the ceremony. And, judging by the cheers from the crowd, this love story was definitely headed for a happily ever after. 💍 After a celebratory toast and cake cutting, the party kicked into full ABBA mode as Members danced the night away to all their favorite Mamma Mia hits, spun by the one and only, DJ Mike! Mamma Mia…what a night! 💙✨
