Longer days mean more time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine! ☀️🌿 Our wellness team has kept our Members busy all winter long, gearing up for the spring activities they have up their sleeves. Spring is all about movement, motivation, and having fun! From disc golf and bocce ball to pickleball, co****le, and shuffleboard, there's always a game to jump into and neighbors to play alongside. We had a wonderful time celebrating our Silver Pen Award winners! Winners Lexi Greve and Olivia Drew read their works aloud before we enjoyed dinner and chatted with them and their families. 🎉

Chef Jim delighted us with a stand-out gourmet dinner menu. We began with mushroom and cheese cannelloni, followed by a beautiful salad topped with roasted shrimp and drizzled with charred tomato vinaigrette. For the main course, we had Flank Steak Roulade filled with spinach, mushrooms, and sundried tomatoes, paired with lobster mac and cheese, lemon-tarragon asparagus, and sherry-Dijon demi-glace. To finish, we enjoyed a flourless chocolate Grand Marnier torte for dessert.

So, where are Lexi and Olivia headed next? 🌍 Lexi intends to attend the South Carolina Honors College, with the goal of eventually going to dental school, while Olivia plans to attend Coker College to play softball. We wish them the best in their educational endeavors, and we are confident that they will achieve great things! 📚✨
