We celebrated the anniversary of the iconic show, I Love Lucy, with an afternoon tea party. 🫖 It was Lucy themed, of course, complete with a friendly round of I Love Lucy trivia! The Alzheimer's Association is a cause that is close to our hearts. As a part of the Senior Living Communities National Walk to End Alzheimer's Team, we are committed to raising $150,000 in the fight to ! We couldn't think of a better way to get into the spooky spirit than exploring downtown Conway's Halloween Town! 🕸️ We had so much fun as we greeted ghosts and goblins walking along the Waccamaw River. Members lit up when they saw the Wizard of Oz house and were certainly spooked traveling through the Bone Yard. The best part? Stopping at Stella's Homemade Ice Cream at Conway for a sweet treat, of course! 🍦

We're reminded of nature's beauty on our morning walks by the soft rustling of swaying palm trees and melodic crescendos of singing birds. This morning presented an opportunity to spy on a beautiful monarch butterfly nestled among a spray of flowers. Moments like these remind us how grateful we are to call this beautiful coastal community our home. 🦋 🩷

Or it at least should be so if you don't feel like your is up to the Charlie Brown standard, don't miss the chance to get out and find the perfect one! 😋 Pumpkins make great decor for those front steps, but an even better activity to share with a few loved ones. We love seeing Members bring back the perfect pumpkin and get to work carving a creation with their grandkids! 🎃 🧡
