A sensitive subject, but one worthy of conversation and acknowledgement. Hospice, and the caring people involved in helping the ones we love pass through the doors of life and onto the other side. As we get older, and health problems arise in the people close to us, some of us will come in contact with some people we wish we never had to have a relationship with, but at the same time are so grateful they are there to help cope with the loss of life near to our hearts. It may be a hospice coordinator, or perhaps a home health care nurse, or someone on the pain management team to ease the pain of the suffering in people we love that seem to have a special gift to help us accept the inevitable loss of family and friends. I have had the honor on several occasions to be commissioned to help with the passing of family and friends of both myself and complete strangers in my practice, and although I don't post many of my blog articles here, I tend to blog just to get some of my experiences out of my head to help me cope with the situation. Even though it may have been a complete stranger I was working on to help ease their pain and help them pass peacefully, by the end of my sessions they are a part of me that I will always remember and carry with me. If anyone out there has someone in hospice care that could use some compassionate and intuitive hands, please don't hesitate to reach out to me to set up a session plan for them. Massage can also help with depression and anxiety in those dealing with a loved one in hospice care, so give me a call 7 days a week~ I will always make myself available whenever possible. Here's a blog article I wrote some time ago about a man named Joe....... I miss Joe~

Hospice Massage - I received a call last week by a woman who was dealing with her aging parents, one of whom was under hospice care at home.
