Hola, my name is Tammy Kjos and am writing to you as the President of the Board of Directors of this incredible organization, Centro Infantil de los Ángeles! I personally want to thank you for your persistent and highly appreciated help in funding this organization.
You are an angel of good will. All of us at Centro Infantil de los Ángeles (CILA) - and especially the children and families served by this amazing organization-want to say a huge “GRACIAS” to you, the angels who support the Mission and Vision of CILA,
As we all prepare for the end-of-year Holiday Season we are reminded of how blessed many of us are. Will you consider making a donation today?
Thanks to you and many generous donors, CILA has provided free, quality daycare and preschool education to children with the greatest need in San Miguel de Allende Mexico for over twenty years. CILA’s center affords parents (many of whom are single) the comfort of knowing their children are fed, nurtured, and may learn in a safe, caring environment, as they work to make a better life for themselves and the community as a whole.
Our program works, thanks to your donations and our dedicated staff! Children who have passed through our program have performed at levels at or above their peers in primary school. Their parents were able to work and afford a better home for their children than they would have otherwise. This program uplifts families, effecting generations to come.
Over the past two years, we know many of you, our angels were hit hard financially due to the COVID pandemic. Here at CILA, we also faced tremendous financial challenges and saw our donations significantly drop. However, CILA’s Board and Staff are dedicated to CILA’s mission and are strongly committed to carrying that mission out now and into the future. Yet, we can’t do it on the funding we are currently receiving. We need your immediate help.

To kick off this year-end, urgent request we are pleased to announce that a very generous donor has pledged a $10,000 matching gift! This means that the first $10,000 raised by December 31, 2021 will be DOUBLED!

How can you best help CILA and assure that we receive the full $10,000 matching gift?
1. Consider donating those unspent travel/vacation dollars that you may have saved during the COVID travel restrictions. Your saved dollars would be a strong investment in the financial viability of CILA.
2. Have your family sponsor one or more child(ren) for a full school year – August through July. For just $600/year or $50/monthly, you are assuring a quality life for a CILA child.
3. Any donation is appreciated. $10, $25, $100. any amount adds up to help us reach our goal.
