Big Congratulations to Our Very Own – Tarmel Cumpston!

We are proud to share that our incredible pharmacy technician, Tarmel Cumpston, has been named the Oregon State Pharmacy Association’s 2025 Technician of the Year!

Tarmel has been with Myrtle Drugs since we first opened our doors in 2022, but her pharmacy career spans more than 30 years. She started back in 1994 as a pharmacy clerk, quickly moving into the technician role she has mastered ever since. For more than two decades, she has dedicated her skills to independent pharmacy, including here at Myrtle Drugs where she’s been a cornerstone of our team.

What makes Tarmel so deserving of this recognition?

✨ She goes above and beyond for every patient.
✨ She makes the job of the pharmacist easier with her expertise.
✨ She is the ultimate team player - always quick to give praise and slow to take it.
✨ She’s an expert at billing and plays a critical role in our success.
✨ And believe it or not - she’s never been late or called in sick since we opened. She’s always the first to arrive and the last to leave.

Tarmel has the biggest heart, and our patients and team feel the impact of her dedication every single day. We can’t think of anyone more deserving of this award. 💙
