Welcome to Mystic Yoga Shala, a lively yoga studio located directly on the idyllic coastline of Myst Mystic Yoga Shala is a Baptiste Affiliate Studio.

Classes are taught by certified Baptiste Teachers who have trained and studied with Master Yogi Baron Baptiste. His best selling book, "Journey into Power" is the blueprint for our classes. Taught in a 90 degree heated room, muscles soften and become more pliable. Strong emphasis on conscious breathing. Be prepared to sweat.

Join us for our next Kirtan and holiday cheer with Shakti Ma and the Rainbow Serpent band on December 13th! The Kirtan will begin at 5pm and end at 6:30pm. Stay until 7:30pm for the Holiday Bazaar to support local artisans! Register ahead of time through the link in our bio. Donations of $25, $30, or $35 can be made online or you can pay what you can in cash in person when you arrive to the Shala!

✨Meet Sierra! ✨

Sierra received her 200 hr RYT in 2022 through the Mystic Yoga Shala and has continued to grow as a teacher AND as a student on her mat. Her stimulating and challenging flows leave her students feeling empowered. She says that practicing yoga has made her more open-hearted, compassionate, & patient. 💗

Outside of yoga Sierra is a pharmacy technician. She also likes to juice, hike 🥾🌲, snowboard🏂 ,travel✈️, and dance at music festivals with her friends. 🕺

Did you know that Sachem Uncas of the Mohegan tribe had generously given up a large portion of his people’s land to the early colonists? These videos taken in Norwich, CT show the falls where he miraculously jumped and survived. Unfortunately many others fell to their death on that same day. We honor all people and our past.

Yoga is not about a work out. It’s about humbling yourself so much that you are able to see the truth. Removing all the barriers within so we can see rightly. As Gandhi once said “Only when we reduce ourselves to zero can we see the truth.”
