Nacogdoches Treatment Center

Nacogdoches Treatment Center Provides a Day Activity Program for individuals with Dementia. Support groups and services are avai The program is M-F 10 to 2.

The Nacogdoches Treatment Center is a nonprofit organization supported by the local community through donations, memorials and Nacogdoches County United Way. Funding is also received from Area Agency on Aging and grants through the TLL Temple Foundation. The Center provides a Day Activity Program for individuals with Alzheimer's Disease or some other form of dementia. The program is designed after a social model with age appropriate activities. A weekend respite is provided for clients one weekend a month. Support groups for caregivers is available at noon on the second and last Thursday of the month. Limited transportation is provided.

Texas Legislature established the Dementia Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (DPRIT) through Senate Bill 5. To fulfill its mission it needs dedicated funding. Proposition 14 will provide $3 billion over the next 10 years. So please Vote “Yes” on November 4, 2025 for Proposition 14.

Selling sourdough cinnamon rolls to raise money for the trip to Neema Village this summer. I have 5 pans ready today. They are $30 a dozen. Let me know if you are interested. I will be make more ever 3 to 5 days. The freeze well and taste just like the came out of the oven with 15 seconds in the microwave.
