A: First, remember that she's not just moving into a home—she's moving into her new home. If it's Assisted Living, ask her how she'd like it to be decorated and arranged. For Memory Care, take cues from her current living arrangements. Bring paintings, photos and a few special knick-knacks. And consider completing the look before Mom moves in, so her new home feels more like home, right away.

We hope everyone has been surrounded by love this month! Whether its with a spouse, friends, family, or simply the love of God. There is joy found in the smallest things if we just stop for a minute and look around.🥰

Our residents had a blast at our sweetheart party and we celebrated Mr. Boozer's 90th birthday too! Later we headed over to the Nacogdoches Senior Center for a fun gathering. We want to shout out Harbor Hospice Nacogdoches Rotary Club Nacogdoches Rotary Club Pilot International Club of Evening Nacogdoches
for keeping our residents entertained and well taken care of. We enjoyed our Valentines Friday thoroughly.

Merry Christmas everyone! We have had a blast this year at The Arbor! We crafted snowmen, Had a party for our staff and a party for our residents! We want to wish everyone safe travels and we hope you all enjoy your time with friends and family.
