HEY BATTER BATTER...SWING! ⚾️🍔🍟🍿🥤
We had a blast yesterday with our annual Baseball event here at The Arbor. We like to celebrate Opening Day of MLB with many activities! These include lacing your ball, photobooth, ticket drawings, Baseball themed lunch with sundaes, Baseball themed movie with popcorn, and of course the big game! We appreciate all who came to help and we can't wait for next years big game!

Huge shout out to Harbor Hospice who always brings our game and helps us for the day of fun! Thank you to Sarah with Gentiva for being a cheerleader for our residents. Thank you to our special guest Jack who threw the first ball. Thank you to our owner, Dodd for coming to surprise us, throw the ball for our team, and cheer on our residents! We appreciate all of our staff members who worked hard as a team to put this together. 😀⚾️

We had so much fun with Harbor Hospice on our planetarium trip! They helped us in getting our residents inside safely and they enjoyed the show thoroughly! 🌎💫🪐🌙☀️

Thank you to our bus driver Rose for getting our residents safely to and from our destination. Thank you to Tommy for helping load and unload walkers and wheelchairs. We could not have done it with out our amazing volunteers and staff!

We hope everyone stayed safe from being pinched by the Leprechauns on Tuesday! We had a blast during our St. Patrick's Party! Played games, won prizes, and played with fun props at our photobooth.

Huge thank you to Misty Martin McDonald with Vital Caring for taking pictures and sticking around to help out!

We also got a fun visit from Harbor Hospice! they passed out some fun pins for the holiday

We had such a blast at our Mardi Gras celebration together! We danced, had some king cake, and made many memories! We also enjoyed engaging the residents in a game with the staff in a game called "do you trust your resident". We shared lots of laughter and smiles! 😃

We hope everyone has been surrounded by love this month! Whether its with a spouse, friends, family, or simply the love of God. There is joy found in the smallest things if we just stop for a minute and look around.🥰

Our residents had a blast at our sweetheart party and we celebrated Mr. Boozer's 90th birthday too! Later we headed over to the Nacogdoches Senior Center for a fun gathering. We want to shout out Harbor Hospice Nacogdoches Rotary Club Nacogdoches Rotary Club Pilot International Club of Evening Nacogdoches
for keeping our residents entertained and well taken care of. We enjoyed our Valentines Friday thoroughly.
