Texas Original has opened a new 65,000-sq-ft medical ma*****na facility in Bastrop, almost ten times the size of its previous headquarters. The facility encompasses cultivation, manufacturing, testing, packaging, and distribution operations. This expansion coincides with the passage of House Bill 46, which broadens access to medical cannabis for more conditions and allows for new delivery methods, including aerosol and v***r products. CEO Nico Richardson emphasized the facility’s role in meeting the growing demand for medical cannabis in Texas, particularly with the expanded compassionate use program.
