Starting today (July 17), 988 will no longer offer its dedicated LGBTQ+ Youth and Young Adult subnetwork, also known as the “Press 3 option.” We remain deeply disappointed by this decision.

To our country’s LGBTQ+ youth: we see you, we support you, and we don’t want you to hesitate to reach out for help.

Although the LGBTQ+ service option is no longer available, 988 continues to operate as a resource for everyone, and NAMI encourages anyone in crisis to reach out to 988 for help.
