🎉🎂 Celebrating 100 Years of Life! 🎂🎉
Today we are beyond blessed to celebrate a truly incredible milestone — Mrs. Raney’s 100th Birthday!
A century of memories, wisdom, strength, and love… what an honor it is to share this special day with such a remarkable woman. Mrs. Raney is a beautiful reminder that life is meant to be lived fully, cherished deeply, and celebrated together.
From all of us here, we are so grateful to be part of her journey and to celebrate this moment surrounded by family, friends, and love.

A big Thank you to Tanner with Hospice in the Pines for coming out to help with our Art Class today. As New Years draws closer, we look to the stars to think of our New Years Resolution. The residents had a blast making their solar paintings and if you look closely into their skies, you can see the big dipper. Big thank you to the staff for helping gather our residents for this event.

A big thank you to all that held our residents in their hearts this Christmas. The loved reading and looking at the Christmas Cards in their stockings. Opening presents with childlike delight! And being able to share their Christmas joy with their fellow Neighbor! A big thankyou to The Precious Cycle for coming to help this year with handing out gifts and treats to our residents. They loved getting to See Santa Claus and enjoyed the Christmas cookies.

The loved all the trees but the winner this year was Hospice of East Texas with the blue Christmas tree. Thank you all so much !

Merry Christmas Eve!
Let’s make sure that we remember to slow down today… Though we are surrounded by the hustle and bustle that Christmas brings… we can reflect on this special day, we are reminded of the hope, love, and peace that this season represents. Inspired by the joy of Christ’s birth, we are especially grateful for our incredible team. They show compassion, kindness, and servant hearts every single day of the year. Thank you for the dedication and care you pour into our residents and one another… it truly makes a difference. We are blessed to work with such an amazing group of people. December is Write a Friend Month
Nothing is better than receiving a surprise letter in the mail! Receiving a personal correspondence can brighten up a winter day! The holidays are the perfect time to put pen to paper, and connect via written word with a senior living resident, a grandchild, a tamily member, an old friend or neighbor.
Five reasons to write a letter this month:
* Connect with loved ones
* Spread holiday cheer
* Express creativity
* Reflect on events of the past year
* Create keepsakes and memories
Consider including a holiday card or photographs with your letter.
Have fun and purchase some festive new stationery or personalize your stationery by making your own with markers, stickers, and doodles!

We are all in the Christmas Spirit this week! We decided to decorate some cookies for Santa and some for ourself as well with the help from our friends at Angel’s Care Home Health! The loved decorating the gingerbread men and eating them! A big thank you to all the staff members who helped our residents get ready for this event.
