Seeking per-diem psychotherapists for our psychiatric outpatient clinics. The role of the Psychotherapist is to provide traditional, ongoing, intensive, individual and family psychotherapy to youth diagnosed with a mental illness. The Psychotherapist functions as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team to ensure quality care is being provided and is medically necessary.

The CSBBH Mobile Therapist (MT) provides intensive therapeutic services to children and their families in settings other than the provider agency or office. These settings can include the child's home, church, community center, school or other community setting. Therapy is child centered and family focused. The CSBBH MT functions as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality care is being provided and is medically necessary. The MT is the supervisor of the Community and School-Based Behavioral Health team made up of Behavioral Health Technicians.

Individuals who provide individual services through mobile therapy services shall meet one of the following:
1. Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist or clinical social worker.
2. Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a social worker or a behavior specialist.
3. Have a graduate degree with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling.

The Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist provides counseling rehabilitation services through an aggressive Assertive Community Treatment Team outreach approach in the consumer's community. The Vocational Specialist is part of a comprehensive team comprised of a Psychiatrist/PA, Mental Health Nurses, Therapists, Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Housing Specialist and Certified Peer Specialist. Due to the intensity of the program, some nights, weekends and holidays are required. A valid driver's license is required as you will be visiting the members in their homes.

The position requires a Master's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, rehabilitation counseling, or other related field from an accredited college or university. Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling preferred.

Northeast Counseling Services is the mental health crisis service provider for central and southern Luzerne County. We are currently seeking individuals to become part of our team providing assessments on mental health clients seeking help. The Walk-In Crisis Worker provides in-person and telephone assessment and intervention for adults, children & adolescents experiencing psychiatric emergencies.

The position requires a Master's Degree in social work, psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university or a Bachelor's Degree in human services field or Registered Nurse. They should possess a working knowledge of the philosophy, concepts, mandates and operations of community mental health services and/or related human services delivery. They should be proficient in writing and verbal communication's skills with knowledge of crisis interventions techniques and an ability to interact with the public.

- $2500 added remuneration for bilingual ability.

Northeast Counseling Services Psych Rehab program in Hazleton is looking for a part-time driver that would be available for a couple of hours in the morning and again in the afternoon. The position requires a valid PA Driver's License as well as the ability to comfortably drive a 16-passenger van.
Pay: $13.00/ hour

What an incredible day at the Children & Family Resource Fair this past Sunday!

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this event such a success: Luzerne County MH/DS, Project LAUNCH, our amazing staff volunteers, the dedicated resource vendors who shared valuable information and giveaways, the food trucks who kept everyone well-fed, and the activity vendors who brought so much fun and energy to the day.

Most of all, thank you to all the families who came out to learn, connect, and celebrate with us. Together, we’re building stronger roots for our community and brighter futures for our children!
