We have strong EMTs! They work great with another Paramedic or an AEMT and they excel at BLS care on their own. Thank you Nanticoke EMTs. Did you know?. There are a million certified EMS providers in Pennsylvania? In our Northeast Region, there are 17,000. Did you know that ONLY 34% are active on an Amhulance crew? In the Northeastern Region (EMSNP), THERE ARE ONLY 1055 ACTIVE. !??Jobs...EMT PAY STARTS AT 20$/HR.

You don’t call 911 because you’re having a good day.

Most life-saving interventions happen at the BLS level: CPR, airway management, hemorrhage control, and rapid defibrillation.

Yet too often, EMTs are undervalued and undertrained while ALS is prioritized.

Embrace the stumbles and missteps, for they teach us resilience. Remember, every small step forward is a victory in itself. Perfection is a myth, but persistence? That's the real trophy.

We are very proud of the folks that man this ambulance 24/7/365.

Its not a job of sitting around much. In fact we are on the go more often than not and many times, we are in a bad situation that is a life or death battle for a person who is probably a stranger to us, regardless they are treated like a close family matter.

Some EMS responses are very basic while others force us to use every bit of knowledge, skill and the equipment of this Mobile Intensive Care Unit known as Medic 25.

Its actually messy but these EMS people do not turn away from that. We cannot show you of course as it is unethical and illegeal. Beside we would be censored and in FB jail for inappropriate posts. Trust us, we do what has to be done where most cannot deal with it and we're good at it.

Sadly they, EMS, do not get the recognition they deserve. Not many would want to evaluate them inbtheir element. You may only see them when awaiting the next mission not when they are on the job and doing what they have to in a very dramatic situations. So you dont really get to see us in action. Hey we dont even get to parades. Were there when you need us most.
