Medic 25/Ambulance 558 Nanticoke Community Ambulance Association

Nanticoke Community Ambulance is a non profit PA Corporation established 1939. NCAA operates 2 MICU ambulance and 1 BLS ambulance.

Medic 25-A is a 24/7 fully paid EMT/Paramedic team in-station team. Medic 25-B is staffed to provide additional availability and service to the public during peak hours. Ambulance 558 is available as needed via paid and/or volunteer personnel.

We got around real well in the January snow storm when we needed to.

We always plan and prepare ahead of winter with new heavy rib and lug tires and for the big ones we have tire chains designed just for ambulances.

Nanticoke City does a great job on our very hilly roads and we are lucky.
This storm we answered several 911 calls including several breathing chest pain and a severe injury without difficulty. This even involves shoveling the walk and porches of scene by the crews so we can get someone to the ambulance.

We very proud of the EMTs and Paramedic that worked as they were basically stranded over 48 hours at station to be ready for you.

Over the years we've had a great response from the EMS providers and we have a great time doing it.
