That’s not a blackout state.
You were awake. You were aware.

Your attention was simply focused.

That focused state of attention is the same level I work at with my clients.

You already enter these states every day— when you’re driving on autopilot,
when you’re doomscrolling your phone and suddenly an hour is gone, or when you zone out and drift into a daydream.

These are natural, familiar states of focus.

Hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention. It’s like being absorbed in a good book, a movie, or a moment of deep concentration.

In this state, the unconscious mind (the part of the mind that runs habits, emotional responses, stress patterns, and automatic behaviors) becomes more accessible, which allows for meaningful and lasting change to occur.

Let’s dispel a few myths 👇

MYTH: Hypnosis is a blackout state or mind control.
FACT: You are awake, aware, and in control the entire time.

MYTH: You can get stuck in hypnosis.
FACT: Hypnosis is a natural state you move in and out of every day, and you come out of it on your own.

MYTH: Only certain people can be hypnotized.
FACT: You are already going in and out of hypnotic state at least twice a day.

MYTH: Hypnosis makes you do things against your will.
FACT: You cannot be made to do anything that goes against your values or beliefs.

While you are in hypnosis, you are awake and aware the entire time. You remember as much as you would from any normal conversation.

Hypnotism isn’t about losing control—it’s about gaining access to the part of you that already knows how to shift, heal, and let go.

Have you tried everything, the books, the seminars, the meditations, yet nothing seems to stick?

You make progress, and then the old patterns pull you right back. It’s frustrating, and it’s not your fault.

Most of the time, we’re trying to create change on the surface while the real patterns, formed years ago, are running deep in the unconscious. Those patterns quietly shape how you react, what you believe, and the habits you keep repeating… even when you’re trying to change them.

Once you see those patterns, you can begin shifting them where they actually live: at the unconscious level.

That’s why willpower, information, and self-help alone often aren’t enough. The deeper patterns have to be rewired.

Real, lasting change happens when you learn to recognize those unconscious patterns as they show up and transform them from within.

Are you afraid that if you go into hypnosis, you might say something you don’t want to say or reveal something too personal? 🤔

That’s one of the most common fears people have about hypnosis — and it’s completely understandable. Movies and TV have made it seem like hypnosis is a loss of control, but the reality is the exact opposite.

When you’re in hypnosis, you’re in a deeply relaxed, focused state of attention — kind of like that moment right before you fall asleep or when you’re totally absorbed in a book or movie. You’re awake. You’re aware. You hear everything that’s said. You remember as much as you would from any normal conversation.

And most importantly — you are in control the entire time. 🤩

You can choose what to share and what to keep private. You can even open your eyes or end the session whenever you want. Hypnosis isn’t something that’s done to you — it’s something you do with your hypnotist. ☺️

✅It’s a process of cooperation, not control.

Your mind simply becomes more open and receptive to positive, helpful suggestions that you want to take in.
