You asked, we listened — and more Sculpt Flow is officially on the schedule! Designed to build strength, stability, and endurance, these classes combine yoga-inspired movement with light weights and intentional sequencing for a full-body burn that still honors breath and flow.

✨ Now offered twice a day on Tuesdays and Thursdays — so you can move when it fits your rhythm.

Tuesday: Upper Body & Core
7:00 am + 6:00 pm

Thursday: Lower Body & Core
7:00 am + 6:00 pm

Hi all! We post a lot about the studio and various classes, but it's been a minute since I've said hi so I wanted to reintroduce myself. I'm Katie Curry, the owner of Yoga West in Downtown Napa. It's wild to think that December will mark our two year anniversary and I wanted to say how grateful I am for each and every one of you.

Our classes have evolved and grown over the last two years because of your dedication to your practice, your willingness to share insights, feedback and truly create an environment that you love being a part of.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your world. To laugh with, inspire, lead and teach you all is something I treasure with wisdom and grace. This little nook of Napa is my happy place. It's my sanctuary, it's my community hub and it helps to support all of you through your own personal journeys.

In Sanskrit, the word “vinyasa” means “to place in a special way”. In yoga, we transpose this philosophy to a rhythmic flow, using our inhales and exhales to transition from pose to pose to create a flow state and steady breath. Vinyasa can be more athletic and vigorous, or slower and meditative. Each of our vinyasa teachers brings their unique point of view to this way of moving and we invite you to try classes from different teachers to find the flow that moves you.

🧘‍♀️ There is no there there.

What is a yoga pose except for a place to practice breath, focus and resilience?

Of course, the stretching and holding keeps our bodies healthy and strong. But lots of modalities can help you achieve a flexible and powerful body.

Yoga is different. It's beyond just the stretching and toning of the body. It's' an inward journey to the place where stillness lies beneath the ritual of breath and movement and focus.

And so what happens after you "get" that pose you've been working so hard on? Does achieving full Hanumanasana (the splits) mean you've now reached enlightenment? It sure doesn't! And that's good news for us. It means we get to keep coming back to the mat again and again, to continue that inward spiral path towards awareness.

Asana (pose) practice is only one part of the thing. To live in yoga is to live with character, morality, empathy and grace. It's resilience and care, selflessness and boundaries.

Through our asana practice, we refine our focus, discipline, and compassion so that we can show up "out there" as our best selves.

Our Beginners Yoga Series officially kicks off with Judith on January 6 and is designed to help you build confidence, learn foundational poses, and discover the joy of movement without pressure or perfection.

Come as you are. Leave feeling grounded, strong, and connected — both on and off the mat. 🧘‍♀️
