The Napa Opioid Safety Coalition (NOSC) and the Napa County Office of Education (NCOE) will host a free virtual town hall on Fentanyl Poisoning Awareness in October during National Red Ribbon Week. The event will be held in English on October 26 at 6:00 p.m., and Spanish on October 27, also at 6 p.m. Parents, guardians and community members will hear from health care, law enforcement and other specialists about the dangers of fentanyl poisoning to youth. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions.

Alternatives for Better Living is looking to hire a certified drug and alcohol counselor to work at the Napa State Hospital. Monday through Friday, day time hours. Must be certified.

Competitive salary *HSA to cover costs of medical premiums * Supportive work environment *Satisfying and rewarding work.
Counselor will be responsible for providing substance recovery treatment to patients on program units.

Duties:

Write comprehensive patient assessments and work with team on implementation of treatment planning.
Facilitating education and process groups.
Discharge planning and all administrative staff duties.
Documentation and computer skills required.

Required experience:

Drug and Alcohol Certification in the State of California
A minimum of two years experience preferred
Experience with dual diagnosis preferred
