Healing Moon Lodge Offerings in the Summer
Sunday Night: June 19,26 July 3,10; 6-7pm
Yoga Nidra with Hanya Gallagher.
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “effortless relaxation”. It's usually practiced lying down. It can help manage immune function, blood pressure, cortisol levels and induce restful sleep. Yoga Nidra has been found to be effective in reducing anxiety.
Hanya has trained in many yoga pathways, has a degree in Physical Education with Post Graduate Training in Therapeutic Exercise and is a Zen Buddhist Priest.
Wednesday Morning June 22,29 July 6,13; 8-9.15am
Movement/ Meditation Class with Rosemary Gallagher. All levels of Movement capacities and meditation experience are welcome. This will be a series of 4 classes, discovering and deepening with the Immeasurables - Love, Joy, Compassion and Equanimity. Discovering/rediscovering how we can lean into these resources during these times.
Saturday Retreat: August 13; 10am-4pm
Day long Retreat: Hanya and Rosemary Gallagher are co leading the retreat. The theme of bringing our full presence to each moment will weave through the day. We will have movement practices that include both Chi Gong and yoga, appropriate for all bodies and capabilities. We will meditate together in quiet and with guided meditations.
