Try these 2 exercises before starting your day!đź’Ş

Butterfly and 90 90 hip stretch!

The classic butterfly stretch we all know. It’s simple but so great.
Make sure to press your feet together and flat.
If you’re able to slowly move your upper body down, great; if not, staying as is is just as effective!

90 90 stretch is great if you only want to focus on one side, but you might as well work on both hips while you’re doing it! Bring one leg in front at a 90 angle while the other is behind at a 90 angle. Press down into your knee on your front leg and hold for about 15 seconds, then switch.

These easy stretches can be done to help with hip tightness. Sometimes you need more than simple at-home stretches, so if that’s the case, give us a call of scheduled so we can create a treatment plan to fix you 💙

Scapular Retraction Stretchđź’Ş

Using a resistance band, hold it at the ends but enough to have resistance between arms. Slowly bring arms together in front of you, then slowly down and out. Don’t arch your back but make sure to squeeze your shoulder blades!

Get a foam roller, lay flat over it.
Making sure the foam roller is in the area you’re feeling discomfort.
You can roll it out or simply lie there for 39 seconds.
Then slowly sit up, stretch and move around.
Repeat 2-3 times!

This can be done before or after work and will help relieve any tension!

Wall Angels✨

This simple movement can help improve your posture, increase your shoulder mobility and health, reduces back pain, and helps those who sit at a desk all day!

To perform this stretch:
-stand with your back, shoulders, arms, and head, flat against a wall
-bring your arms to shoulder height, with elbows at a 90 degree angle, maintaining them flat against the wall
-now slowly do a snow angel against the wall, bringing your arms up and down. Still pressing against the wall
-complete 3 sets of 10
