Patrick’s Residence offers long-term care and rehab services, providing compassionate physical, emotional, and spiritual support to all residents, fostering a close-knit, welcoming environment that feels like home for residents and their families. Patrick’s Residence Nursing and Rehabilitation is a not-for-profit, 210-bed, long-term care nursing and rehabilitation facility, which is served by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm who, with their staff, care for the elderly regardless of race, disability, or religious affiliation.

Our Valentine’s Day celebration was a massive success, and our hearts are officially full! It was wonderful to see so many residents come together to share a laugh and some incredible treats.
Events like these don't just happen; they are built by the hands and hearts of our community. Thank you to everyone who pitched in with the decorations and setup, brought treats and assisted at the event. You turned our common area into a true Valentine’s wonderland! St. Patrick’s feels like home because of the way you all show up for one another. The Difference is Love!

Margaret has worked in our dietary department since 2022. She is a very focused employee who gets the tasks completed in the kitchen for the PM shift. She is a wonderful leader who takes authority to get the trays out on time for the residents to enjoy. When a new employee starts, she helps to lead and coach them on their duties and shows them how to be efficient in their role.

Yesterday, we honored the Venerable Mary Angeline Teresa, the foundress of the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm at our annual Mother’s Tea. A trailblazer in elder care in the United States, she left behind a profound legacy encapsulated in her words: “If you must fail, let it be on the side of kindness. Be kinder than kindness itself to the old people.”

We extend my heartfelt gratitude to The Guild of St. Patrick’s for embodying the mission of the Venerable Mary Angeline Teresa.

Our Story

St. Patrick’s Residence is a nonprofit, long-term care and short-term rehabilitation senior community, which is served by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm. Since 1964, the Sisters and their staff and volunteers have lovingly cared for individuals with love, respect and dignity.
