Today we celebrate International Women’s Day — a time to recognize the strength, resilience, and achievements of women everywhere.

At Grow Wellness Foundation, we are especially grateful for the many women who make our mission possible — the therapists who provide compassionate care, the board members and volunteers who lead with purpose, and the donors and advocates who help expand access to mental health services in our community.

Women often carry many responsibilities — caring for families, supporting communities, and leading in their professions. Today is also a reminder that mental wellness matters, and that everyone deserves access to the support they need.

Together, we can continue to break down barriers to care and ensure that mental health resources are available to all.

Thank you to the women who inspire, lead, and uplift others every day.

Board Spotlight: Mary Morrissey

We are proud to spotlight Mary, a dedicated member of the Grow Wellness Foundation Board whose leadership and heart for service help advance our mission every day. Mary serves as the Firm Administrator at Huck Bouma, PC, where she oversees daily operations and supports the firm’s commitment to serving clients and the community with excellence. Her professional experience in leadership and operations brings valuable insight and strength to our board.

Why Mental Health Access Matters to Mary
Mary is deeply passionate about increasing awareness around mental health and ensuring that everyone — regardless of their financial situation — has access to the help they need.
“Mental health challenges touch so many lives, directly and indirectly. Access to care and understanding can make a tremendous difference in helping people live healthier, more fulfilling lives.”
Her commitment reflects the very heart of our mission: expanding access to affordable mental health services in our community.

When She’s Not Serving
Family is everything to Mary. She treasures time spent with her children and grandchildren, along with her mom, siblings, and extended family. She also enjoys cooking with her husband — creating special moments around the table together.

It is THRILLING to see our Little Library being used! Our library is filled with books to help children & their parents, especially during these interesting times.

THANKS to YOU we have had books- ready to lend.

This adorable library, the brainchild of our lead child therapist, Bailey Behrman. It graces the hallway of 5th Avenue Station, 200 E. 5th Avenue in Naperville. The library is outside of suite 118.

Although we ask people to return the books when they are done with them, they are well loved and most times do not find there way back to us.
WE dearly need more books, if you want to donate to fill the library please go to:
