For the moment when the person who raised you doesn’t understand why they’re no longer at home, or why you’re making the decisions you have to make.

And the frustration gets directed at you.

The anger. The confusion. The heartbreak of knowing it’s not really them—but still feeling it all the same.

Owner and Therapist Abby Koch is living this reality with her mother.

We were proud to be part of the 4th Annual Mental Health & Wellness Symposium at Metea Valley High School. An event that brought together hundreds of individuals, organizations, and conversations all centered around connection, support, and care.

With 800+ attendees, 75+ organizations, and dozens of sessions, the impact of a day like this goes far beyond the event itself. It’s a reminder that mental health matters—and it's not something you need to navigate alone.
