Today, we are honoring our very own IVF Nurse Manager, Jennifer Glisson! 🇺🇸

Jen's education and career began when she enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Combat Medic. At just 20 years old, she scrubbed into an emergency C-section during a snowstorm when other physicians couldn’t make it to the hospital. This was an experience most young adults don't get!

She was also a Labor & Delivery nurse at Irwin Army Hospital in Fort Riley, Kansas.

Jen shares that her time in the Army “shaped my character and made me acutely aware of what matters most in life.” Each year, she proudly celebrates Veterans Day with her family and remains deeply grateful for the opportunities that service provided.

Our practice wouldn't be what it is without our amazing sonographer team: Courtney, Jessica, Tania, Melissa, Sajeda and Monique!

Dr. Miller is back on stage with The Rockin’ Docs for this year’s Docapalooza, a benefit concert supporting Advocate Lutheran General Hospital’s Cancer Survivorship Center.

Enjoy a fun night out live music, dinner buffet, open bar and four bands made up of physicians who truly rock!

Does IVF increase your future risk of breast cancer?
No🙅‍♀️

Dr. Fabiola Balmir tells us that studies over the last 20 years have shown that undergoing IVF does not increase your risk of breast cancer.

Should you be diagnosed with breast cancer, you can preserve your fertility with egg freezing prior to beginning chemotherapy which can deplete egg supply. The entire egg freezing process takes about two weeks, but it's important to consult with your oncologist before proceeding.
