🌟 Shining a Spotlight on Charter Senior Living of Panama City Beach! 🎨💛

Their team recently shared this incredible painting created by Carol, one of their talented and compassionate CNAs. Carol studied commercial art in the 80s before finding her true passion in serving older adults, and we’re so grateful she did. She combines her love for caregiving with her artistic talent, creating heartfelt pieces like this Charter Express scene to brighten residents’ days.

Thank you, Carol, for sharing your creativity and your heart. And thank you, Panama City Beach, for cultivating a community filled with joy, purpose, and extraordinary team members. 💙✨

🧤🎄 It’s National Mitten Tree Day! 🎄🧤

Today, we’re celebrating the warmth of hands and hearts by decorating our very own Mitten Tree! Every mitten added to our tree isn’t just a decoration; it’s a symbol of love, kindness, and the joy of giving during the chilly winter months.

Everyone is invited to help “warm up” the season by contributing mittens, gloves, or hats to our giving tree. These items will be donated to local shelters and families in need.

Let’s come together, spread warmth, and turn our community tree into a tower of compassion. ❄️💙

Keven and I, were thrilled to participate in Argentum Senior Housing conference of Senior Living leaders in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona, focused on addressing the future and significance of providing care for the growing senior baby boomer population, which will see 10,000 individuals turn 80yrs old daily beginning January 1. The silver tsunami is coming and we should be all loving to what is needed to enhance the Human spirits!

Wow. What an honor.

A few weeks ago, during our annual Executive & Senior Leadership Meeting, Charter Senior Living had the incredible honor of hosting Dr. Cameron Camp—a true pioneer and internationally recognized leader in Montessori-based dementia care.

To say it was impactful is an understatement.

Dr. Camp shared decades of research on dementia through a deeply human lens—reminding us that cognitive ramps, compassion, purpose, and engagement are not “nice to have.” They are treatment. They are the pathway to dignity. They are the very foundation of how we must show up for residents living with dementia.

Hearing Dr. Camp validate the work we’ve been championing—purpose, engagement, Montessori-inspired lifestyles, meaningful routines—felt like fuel. Inspiration. Affirmation. A call to keep going.

We walked away with a renewed sense of purpose and possibility. His words were not just education; they were an invitation to design a better system… and to earn the legacy we’ll leave behind.
